CORRECTION: I have never been a fully tenured professor

People in academia are very anal  about their titles; that's why I feel compelled to clarify the statement made in Abortion amendment 'throws women under bus': I was never and have I never been a fully tenured professor.

I taught at Rutgers University as a "full time Instructor" (I think that's what they called me) at Rutgers-New Brunswick and also as a part-time adjunct professor at Rutgers-Newark, but only a couple of years. Most of my teaching years (+/- 7) were spent at New York University, Manhattan College and Borough of Manhattan Community College as whatever titles they confer to adjuncts. I also ended up teaching a summer at La Complutense in Madrid via a Marymount Community College in New Jersey.

Yet I have never ever been a fully tenured professor.
